SCHNAYDERMAN’S AW21
Four restless teenagers set out on a journey to an otherworldly place, located at the fringes of civilization.
The Outsiders, a showcase of Schnayderman’s Autumn/Winter 2021 collection, is a coming-of-age sci-fi about a tight-knit group of friends. Alienated by society but united by their quirks, they carve their own path towards adulthood. In the final hours of life as they know it, we see them prepare for a life changing event - a close encounter of the first kind.

SCHNAYDERMAN’S SS22
The past year we saw a shift. Transitions became near impossible and our brave new world of constant change appeared to come to a halt. The focus shifted from appearance to self-development and reflection.
The SS22 collection “In-Transit” is a reflection on the past, present and future. An exploration of “now” in relation to where we’ve been and where we’re going. The collection features artworks by renowned Swedish artist Marcus Mårtenson, who’s known to call out our own thought patterns and how we judge our surroundings to mind. The fabric and textures reminds us of a life in motion with washed out colors, airy silhouettes and sun faded hues.
This year Schnayderman’s will present their collection with fictional fashion show. The short film features three characters stranded at a post waiting to be able to return to civilization. They reflect on the past, present and future as they bide their time in the barren borderland.

SCHNAYDERMAN’S AW22
Schnayderman’s fictional fashion show tells the story of a foolish man dreaming of love only to find himself caught in an endless loop of dizzying heights and crushing lows. Is he a dreamer? Is he a fool? Or is he a little bit of both?
Taking inspiration from tarot cards and dreamy landscapes, Schnayderman's have amped up the their aesthetic without compromising on their timeless designs. Contrast is a key word for the sea- son with brushed and washed out textures that meet shiny surfaces and bold pops of colour. There are two clearly different segments in the collection; On one hand we have a section of more formal
tailoring pieces in contrast to stand out pieces like the eccentric illusion prints and torn knits in bold colors and slightly unconventional cuts.
“The situation during the pandemic has given us our fair share of realism and as a result we felt an urge to look towards the future and what that might have in store for us. However, by allowing your- self to dream, you also expose yourself for potential failure and that vulnerability is something that we wanted to embrace in this collection.” says Creative Director Hampus Bernhoff
